Our second annual fish fry was held on Sept. 11! Both members and the community were invited to the annual Member and Community Fish Fry. This fundraising event is held in the fall at the REMC warehouse in Corydon and near Limeberry Lumber’s parking lot at Highlander Point in Floyds Knobs. The event is first come, first serve, so if the food runs out, the event is over.
A fish sandwich and other sides will be available for purchase, with all proceeds benefitting a different charity every year
Each year, the REMC will pick a non-profit organization to benefit from the funds collected at this event. We look forward to this new tradition and giving back to the communities we serve.
This year the charity was the Habitat for Humanity of Floyd and Harrison counties. Donations totaled nearly $3,000 with all money donated. Thank you everyone!
