It is time for area firefighter and emergency personnel to gather at Harrison REMC. Keep Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023, open for this annual Harrison REMC event.
Dinner will begin at 5:30.
This year we will present a live line demonstration to illustrate the dangers around electric power lines. We will also go over what dangers to be aware of when working around power lines, and what to do if your equipment/vehicle encounters power lines.
We would also ask that if your department has come across any unique electrical safety hazards that would make for a good safety topic, please let us know so that we can make sure to provide you with future presentations that helps you and your fellow departments stay save and reduce possible injuries. If your department has a topic that would benefit from an open forum among all the departments, please let us know and we would be happy to incorporate that into the event as well.
