Harrison REMC is offering members another way to pay their bill. Checkout is a convenient, cash-based payment application that will allow members to pay their bill using a Checkout barcode and cash at retail locations across the country.
How it works and some FAQs:
  • Members can obtain their barcode from the back of their bill or by going online to harrisonremc.meridiancheckout.com. 

    • You must have your account number to obtain the barcode. Bring this information to one of the participating retailers and the cashier will scan the barcode and take your cash payment, along with the $1.50 processing fee. This payment is in real time and will be posted to your account immediately.  The store will provide you with a receipt. • The retailer does not have access to any balance information. You are required to tell the cashier how much you are paying.

  • If you are paying on a disconnect you must call the office to get reconnected; service will not automatically be reconnected after making the payment.

  • If you are paying on multiple accounts, you must have a barcode for each account.  

  • Participating retailers in our area include: CVS, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Walgreens and Walmart.
